I have the sims 2 ultimate collection, but it fails to load whenever I try to change the resolution to my monitor from the default 800x600. I have the correct graphics setting for my nvidia 940m card and the resolution options are there, they just won't apply. I'll click the resolution I want, click apply, then it'll take a while to load.
No process in Task Manager as well. Origin thinks it is tho (ActivationUI.exe.) Manual editing values in .sgr files (TSdata>res>config/csconfig) = NOPE. Still pink textures. Manual adding GPU details in .sgr files (as above) = NOPE. Still pink textures. Using graphics rules maker to add in GPU and force memory limit = NOPE.

BUT, if you have not correctly applied the 4gb patch (Even if you think it is working it might not be!!! I tried this and haven't had a crash since. It's been running flawlessly for me.
